Group Counseling
Group counseling is a form of therapy where a small group of people (usually 6–12) meet regularly with one or more trained therapists to explore shared concerns, learn new skills, and support each other’s growth.
Unlike individual counseling, where you meet one-on-one with a therapist, group counseling creates a supportive community. Members share experiences, offer encouragement, and learn from one another while working on their personal goals.
Grief and Berevement
Grief is the natural emotional, physical, and spiritual response to loss. Bereavement is the period of mourning and adjustment that follows the death of a loved one. While grief is universal, everyone experiences it differently — there is no “right” way or timeline to grieve.
Loss can feel overwhelming and may bring emotions such as sadness, anger, guilt, confusion, or even relief. It can also affect sleep, concentration, relationships, and daily functioning. Grief is not just about death — people may also grieve after divorce, job loss, illness, or other major life transitions.
Parent Education
Parent education is a supportive program designed to help caregivers strengthen their parenting skills, improve family relationships, and feel more confident in guiding their children’s growth. Parenting does not come with a manual, and every child is different. Parent education provides tools, strategies, and a safe space to learn and practice effective approaches to raising children in today’s world.
Intimate Violence Education Groups
Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), sometimes called domestic violence, includes any pattern of abusive behaviors — emotional, physical, sexual, financial, or psychological — used by one partner to gain power and control over another. IPV can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background, and often leaves lasting emotional, physical, and relational impacts.
Healing from IPV requires safety, understanding, and connection. Many survivors feel isolated, ashamed, or unsure of how to move forward. Group counseling provides a supportive, confidential environment where survivors can begin to rebuild.
Anxiety
Anxiety is a normal human response to stress, danger, or uncertainty. It can motivate us to prepare, focus, or protect ourselves. But when anxiety becomes overwhelming, persistent, or interferes with daily life, it may signal an anxiety disorder.
Depression
Depression counseling provides a safe, supportive environment to explore your feelings, understand the roots of your struggles, and develop strategies for relief. A trained therapist helps you:
-
Identify and challenge negative thought patterns
-
Process underlying causes such as grief, trauma, or stress
-
Build coping strategies to manage mood swings and low energy
-
Reconnect with sources of joy, purpose, and hope
-
Strengthen relationships and support systems
Life Skills
A Life Skills Group is a supportive, structured program that helps individuals build practical skills to manage everyday challenges, improve relationships, and achieve personal goals. The group format allows members to learn and practice together, while receiving encouragement and feedback in a safe environment.
Life skills are essential tools for success in work, school, relationships, and overall well-being. For many people, these skills are not taught directly — a group setting provides a chance to develop them with guidance and support.
